Meet Advantech at MWC 2016

With MWC just over a month away make sure you meet the Advantech NCG team in Barcelona to discuss how our latest platforms enhanced by a strong and flourishing ecosystem can help you meet your next generation infrastructure challenges through a broader choice of x86 platforms for core, edge and access deployment.

We recently introduced a series of products based on the Intel® Xeon® Processor D-1500 product family scaling  from Advanced Mezzanine Cards (AMC) and Versatile Server Modules (VSM) to Carrier Grade servers and Network Security appliances, all the way to high density, highly available blade server platforms for NFV and Edge Computing. Use of the new server-class System-on-Chip (SoC) offerings from Intel enables Advantech to bring these new products to the table at MWC with compelling price/performance per watt ratios.

We believe that this new range of products will not only bring  significant CAPEX and OPEX savings, but will allow you to capitalize on innovative technologies using an NFVI-on-a-module approach, based on stand-alone appliances and servers for legacy and virtualized premise equipment, and leverage carrier-grade blade servers optimized for best-in-class compute density at rack level.

MWC is an excellent and unique opportunity for our management teams to meet with yours, to strengthen our relations and also to preview some of the pioneering new technology that Advantech has prepared for 2016 rollout. These include:

  • Packetarium XLc, a Carrier Grade Blade Server for Core and Edge Computing
  • Network Edge Virtualization demonstrator based on Intel’s NEV SDK and our Versatile Server Module (VSM)
  • 1U/2U Carrier Grade Server refresh with Intel Haswell-EP and Broadwell –EP architectures.
  • A tabletop vE-CPE appliance based on Intel® Atom™ and a 1U version leveraging the Intel® Xeon® processor D-1500 –  a fully functional NFVI supported by a select team of VNF vendors.
  • An entry-level ATCA platform, with the latest Intel Xeon e5-2600 v4 blades.
  • An extended range of PCIe adapters: 1/10 /40GbE NICs and QuickAssist Accelerators

Once again we’ll be demonstrating our Remote Evaluation Service which puts a broad array of new technology virtually at your fingertips to speed your evaluation and development times.
